Mathematical Methods for Computer Science
Assistant: Giacomo Elefante
The exam is a two-hour written exam and is based on both the contents of the lectures (definitions, theorems, lemmas, proofs, examples) and the exercise sheets. The exam is a closed book exam (no books, no notes, only pen and paper). No electronic devices should be used during the exam. All phones switched off. The exam for Discrete Mathematics students, registered for MA 3519/3520, covers both terms and cannot be taken separately, while MA 7003 and MA 7004 are tested separately.
When answering questions in the written remember to show your working. An incorrect answer simply receives no points, whereas an incorrect answer showing how you arrived at it may be worth some points.
